Wrong time of year, i'll wager they only bring about 3500 or so.

Any other year i'd say they'd do much better during the winter months, i don't dare predict anything where money is concerned now.

I just like seeing old survivors, being one. You get to a point where you read the obit column to make sure your name isn't there....

I still say they reach $4000.. Very Nice examples of a quickly diminishing reserve.

Yeah, they appear to be just a careful dusting away from "as new". I had to go back and look at the rest of the pics. I think a fella would be really hard pressed to find a nicer pair. A high final really won't come as a surprise.

OG's right no matter what, even if they go "cheap" they'll still be expensive. And if they don't go cheap....................

IMO, they're a $3000-3500 pair with gold or IPC labels. This will be a good opportunity to see what RWB's can add for a premium.

But, i really think this time of year supresses values/prices. Historically, we could expect them to bring an additional 20-40% during those winter months. The current economic climate kinda leaves it all up in the air now.

I guess i wish i were the eventual buyer.

I agree with the winter prices.. But just think this pair may go higher... It's very hard to find 515's this old with original cones still.
